The boiler in the church has done good work and good service to us, but it is coming the end of its life, and we need to plan for the future. This spring we will be replacing the current steam boiler with a new hot-water system. Converting to hot water means that we will be able to create a separate zone for the chapel. We will also be able to convert to natural gas. All of these changes will help us reduce our carbon use and also our costs.

The total cost of the project will be about $85,000. We are hoping to raise about $40,000 toward the project.
