CAMPUS RENEWAL 2025
100% and $100k
As part of Campus Renewal 2025, we are inviting every member of the Trinity community to be part of this exciting opportunity. We’re hoping to raise $100,000 to do some needed restoration and improvement to our beautiful buildings. Even more importantly, we’re hoping to have everyone get involved. Even if you can only contribute a small amount, it goes a long way to building up our amazing community of faith.
We are delighted to announce that Trinity received a $100,000 anonymous gift from a community member to help us with some key projects around the campus. Our anonymous friend is grateful for the Christian community we have formed and the way we are following Christ here in Lenox, and they want to support us in our work. This gift gives us a great start to completing these goals, but we need your help to get all the way there.
New, Modern Heating System in the Parish House
Replace the aging oil burner in the Parish House with modern, more efficient natural gas burner. Our plan is to install a high efficiency hot air system. With a faster, more responsive heating system, we can also make sure the Parish House is warmer and more welcoming for fellowship and other events. Heating costs some of our largest operating expense. With this change, we can reduce annual operating costs significantly.
Repointing of Parish House (Walker Street)
We’ve got significant degradation of the stones on the façade facing Walker Street. While this does not address the underlying issues with the Parish House porch, this is urgent restoration work.
Begin Painting of Rectory
Beginning with the side facing Kemble Street, begin repainting and necessary carpentry restoration work. We anticipate that this will be a multi-year project.
Engineering Review of Church
Unfortunately, as we explored the possibility of modernizing the heat in the church, it proved to be more complex than we initially hoped. As part of this phase, we will assess our options and costs for improving and modernizing the heating system in the church.
