During the week

Throughout the week, there are several additional opportunities for worship. At this point, most of these services are primarily over Zoom although some are hybrid as well (both in-person and via Zoom).

Morning Prayer: Monday – Friday at 7am; Saturday at 8am

Every day at Trinity opens with the same words: Lord open our lips, and our mouth shall proclaim your praise. Morning Prayer is offered at Trinity at 7am every day throughout the week (except the first Saturday of the month – see below). At Morning Prayer, we pray through the Psalter every two months and we listen to longer passages of Scripture. But at its root, Morning Prayer is fundamentally an act of praise. By beginning each day with prayer, we give thanks for the gift of each new day, and we ask for God’s blessing. This service usually lasts about half an hour.

First Saturday of the Month at 8am – Requiem for Victims of Gun Violence

As part of our ministry of prayer, we  pray for the victims of gun violence on the first Saturday of each month. This service brings the epidemic of gun violence into the heart of our worshipping life. During this service, we pray for each person who died by gun violence in the previous month by name. This powerful moment helps us recognizes that each person who died is a beloved child of God. This service lasts about an hour, and it is a hybrid service (both in-person and remote via Zoom).
